Jun Abe – OSAKA

Published under Vacuum press in 2007, Abe Jun’s “Osaka” brings together a collection of photographs documenting the local streets, fairs, and individuals whom make up his native city of Osaka. Within the pages are snapshots of both momentary instances and urban landscapes, presenting an intimately familiar view of his surroundings, the social cultures and personalities which have come to define the very culture of a city and its inhabitants who are just as diverse and independent from that of its sister city, Tokyo.
